Accuracy is the
archetype of this pastime. At times we are fortunate enough to have access
to plans and other detailed information regarding a particular ship. Rarely,
we will have access to the ship itself for our research. The example to
the right is the Alvin Clark wreck. Through
extensive research and photographs a modeler has the basis for
resurrecting this great ship and breathing new life into her. This is
one of the few ways that we can recreate our history!
