The archive of the
National Maritime Museum contains material from most chapters
of maritime history. The collections consist both of material emanating
from the museum and that which has been collected or donated. The records/plans
and drawings archive collections embrace app. 400 metres of shelved archive
material. Here there are archives from shipyards, shipping lines, associations
and private persons. There is also an important collection of plans and
drawings.
